One device.
A connected experience.
First use, everyday use, service discovery and help had to feel like parts of the same product. The Orange layer needed to earn its place on the phone.
The problem.

The programme brought Android behaviour, hardware constraints, operator services and local-market needs into one experience. Persona and journey material informed the framing. Startup and assistant maps connected individual screens to entry points, handoffs and recovery paths.

- 01
Order the first session
Welcome, language, setup, Google handoffs and Orange service introduction needed a sequence that helped the person get started.
- 02
Make the service layer useful
The assistant connected help, settings, service options, app information and search. The brand showed up through useful structure.
- 03
Design patterns that travel
Home-screen states, visual specifications and reusable behaviours helped the experience stay coherent across devices and markets.

My role was Lead Design Manager. The assistant and startup documentation also credits Derren Toussaint as Designer. The material demonstrates the programme and its decisions; it does not establish a measured adoption uplift.
